Welcome to Gina K Designs card kit & Illustrator Blog Hop where we showcase the gorgeous new stamps & Die release for August 2020. Today I have used the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set by Melanie Muenchinger which is a gorgeous collection of butterflies.The second stamp set featured today is called Wildflowers and Weeds by Lisa Hetrick. Last but not the least also featuring Grow Positive Thoughts by Hannah Drapinski

This stamp set is beautiful and full of very realistic butterfly images done by Melanie. I stamped the butterflies on some Gina K Designs Artist Choice paper with Gina K Designs Amalgum Ink-Obsidian. The amalgum Ink is perfect if you want to use alcohol markers for coloring. I coloured the butterflies in a rainbow theme and added a little grey showdow so that butterflies appear 3 dimentional.I finished the card with a sentiment from the set.
The next card is my favourite since Hannah has drawn such a powerful illustration with beautiful sentiments.I love everything about this stamp, the floral head gear and the face without features is so apt and relatable to all of us. I kept the card monochromatic and love the way it looks. I stamped the image with Distress ink-Antique linen and colored it with some Walnut Ink Crystals.
I used the Gina K Designs Master Layouts 1 to cut the layers and adhered them with connect glue.I finished the card with beautiful sentiment from the set.
For the last card I used the gorgeous Wildflowers & Weeds Stamp set by Lisa and watercoloured the flowers & leaves with my Daniel Smith colours. I used the dies to cut them out. I heat embossed the wheel with Gina K Designs-Gold embossing Powder and then arranged the florals.I adhered the flowers and leaves with connect glue and foam tape.I love the way this card turned out and I finished it with a sentiment from this set.
