Table Top Calendar

Table Top Calendar

Sun, 06 December 2015 Patterned Paper, Die Cutting

Hi friends , I created a small box with chip board and dressed it up with few patterned papers. Used a spellbinders typewriter die as the focal point and arranged few gorgeous mulberry flowers around it .

I wanted to create a compact table top calendar which can hold the monthly calender too. I used thick chipboard to form my box with lid and covered it with a pattern paper by Tim Holtz .

The box measures 3.5"X3.5"X1.5" approximately

I downloaded a free printable calendar form the internet and made little inserts using some craft coloured card stock. Then I used a spellbinders die to cut out this beautiful typewriter and coated it with wink of stella clear shimmer. The calendar inserts fit perfectly in the slit of the typewriter and all together everything looked the way I wanted.

Since my project looked very vintage I decided to use brown coloured cabbage roses and micro roses to jazz up the project.

I also added some metal embesihments ,pearls and punched flowers to make the box look even prettier.

I loved creating this and its a perfect gift for friends and family for new year.
