Gina K. Designs Illustrator & Card Kit Blog Hop October 2019 -DAY 1

Wed, 23 October 2019 Christmas Cards, Gina K Designs

Welcome to Gina K Designs October Blog Hop where we showcase the gorgeous new stamps & Die release. Today I have used the TALL BIRCH stamp set which I  have watercoloured.I have used the sentiment from the Incentive set for this month called SEASONAL GREETINGS which is a must have set for the bold font. You must have landed here from the amazing Hannah Drapinski's blog and if you want to check all the wonderful creations from the entire Design Team visit GINA's Blog.

For the first card I stamped the Birch tree background on some Arches cold press paper with Amalgum Ink -Whisper so that I can achieve a painting like result.I used my Daniel Smith watercolours as they wonderful to paint with.Once I was happy with the coloring I flicked some white paint splatters to complete the winter scene.

I matted the coloured panel on a grey card base and added a sentiment from this month's insentive stamp set.

For the second card I used the HOLIDAY TREES designed by the super talented Beth Silaika. This stamp set is super fun and very versalite. I created a very simple card with this set and all I did is stamped the trees with different Gina K Designs Green Inks to add interest.

I also added some shimmer spray on the card and finished it with a beautiful semtiment.I matted this white stamped panel on a red card base.

For the sentiment I used the CHRISTMAS SCRIPT stamp set handlettered by my friend Emily Loggans.

For the third card I used the most amazing stamp set i have ever seen. This mind blowing set is created by Melanie Muenchinger called PALLET CHRISTMAS.This stamp set has tons of tiny images which can be used in a varity of ways. I have used the PERFECT PALLETS stamp set to create the wooden shelf and then placed these amazing images to create a scene.

I stamped the word hope four times and created a lil banner for my card. I did some dry embossing on the white card panel so as to depict a textured wall. I love this stamp set and lemme warn you it is addictive as there are endless possibilities to create cards using this set.
