Hi friends,
Holi is around the corner and I love the festival so much as its brings the family and friends together and we can all be crazy. I love creating cards for festivals and when I recieved the Holi themed dies from Shalini I was so happy. I am so glad that indian manufactures are coming up with designs which suit our culture and traditions.
For the first card I used Mijello Mission Gold watercolours to create the colourful splatters which represent colours of holi.I love the textures and layers I got with the watercolors,to do so I dry the layers and keep adding more n more paint layers.To finish the card I used the Holi Hai Die. This card looks stunning and is super bright.

For the second card I created a DIY splatter stencil using dies and inked the card panel with bright Distress Inks using sponge daubers.I adhered a vellum rectangle on top and used the sentiment die to cut golden mirror sheet. This is also a super simple and quick card.

The third card is my favorite of all and looks so traditional and festive. For this I created an orange ink blended background and added the die cut elements. I like the sentiment which is very intricate and beautiful.I added some Clear wink of stella for a pretty shine.

For the last card I used a pattern paper for my background and added the die cuts to finish the card.
