Waffle Flower Crafts October 2021 Release Blog Hop

Fri, 15 October 2021 Waffle Flower Crafts

Welcome to Waffle Flower’s October 2021 Release Day! I’m happy to be hopping with the folks from Waffle Flower to show you all the fun new stuff awaiting you on the Waffle Flower website! This month, we’re brining you fun shaker card supplies along with new additions to our oversized word series!

Be sure to check out each stop in today’s blog hop for fun, inspiration, and chances to win some of these new release goodies! Next on the hop is at the amazing Vicky Papaioannou's blog.

For my first card I used the Shaker Circle Die to create this ornament.I used one of the pattern papers called Christmas Stripes paper pad to create the cardbase which shows through the shaker element. To create the shaker I used the brand new Shaker cover-Puffy Circle and Add On dies. I also used the paste to create the shiny snow looking background using the Snowfall background stencil.I finished the card with a white die cut sentiment.

The next card is super simple and quick to make. I used the Simply Plaid stamp set to create the background and added a big & bold white Hello on top. The hello is from the Oversized Hey Hi Hello die set and looks stunning on any card. I just used a poinsettia flower and a few green leaves to jazz up the card even more.I added few white paint splatters to give this card a cozy and winter feel.

The next card is my favourite!

I Water coloured these adorable cheerleaders from the Cheerleaders stamp set. I stamped the image using Distress Ink-Antique Linen on some Arches cold press watercolour paper. I coloured the images with a tiny brush and my favourite Daniel Smith watercolours. I stamped the sentiment with a with a brown ink and to finish it I used a stitched rectangles die. I mounted it on a Neenah desert storm cardbase the card was ready.

For this card I used the tulips stamp set and coloured it with Tombo ABT markers. I really enjoyed colouring with these markers as they are super bright and very easy to blend. I used Neenah solar white card stock for the stamping and the markers work beautifully on it. I used the corresponding die to cut out the floral and then adhered it on top of a window. The window was created a circle die. I used Sunburst stencil and some yellow ink to create this beautiful effect. For the sentiment I used the Solar system sentiments which I stamped with Versafine black onyx ink. I also added some black pink platters to finish the card.
